Alpha Grissin and Vertiv provided the engineering infrastructure for the KZhSA control center in Aktau.
Alpha Grissin participated in the project to launch a digital utility network management system for the city of Aktau at the Central Dispatch Center of the State Public Utility "Caspian Zhylu, Su Arnasy." The company's specialists supplied and commissioned Vertiv-manufactured utility infrastructure equipment for the server room, which became the technological foundation for the stable operation of the digital utility network monitoring and management platform.
The KZhSA Central Dispatch Center plays a key role in the development of Aktau's urban infrastructure. It manages and monitors hot and cold water supply, heating, and sewerage systems in real time. The capabilities of the new digital platform were presented to Beisenbai Tazhibaev, State Inspector of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during a tour of the center .
The launched system allows specialists to quickly monitor utility network and equipment parameters, automatically collect and store data, visualize technological processes, and access information through a web portal. An electronic fault log, operational mode analysis tools, and dashboard display of key performance indicators improve the speed and quality of management decision-making.
What was delivered and launched
Vertiv solutions formed the basis of the server room's engineering infrastructure:
Uninterruptible power supplies with battery arrays ensure continuous power supply to computing and network equipment during power grid disturbances and completely eliminate downtime for the control platform when the main power supply is lost.
Precision cooling systems maintain stable temperature and humidity conditions in the server room, which directly impacts the equipment's lifespan and the platform's stability in the hot climate of the Mangystau region.
Server cabinets and power distribution units (PDUs) form the physical and electrical organization of the computer room, ensure proper load distribution across racks, and simplify future scaling.
All equipment has been commissioned and is operating as part of the existing control center.
